Judge Green joined Skipper Law after leaving the bench in July of 2019. He brings to Skipper Law unsurpassed experience as a jurist and attorney. By serving as the Civil Coordinating Judge for the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County from 2010 to 2017, Judge Green presided over more civil trials than any other judge in the Seventh Judicial Circuit in the past decade. Judge Green joined the Circuit Court in 2008 after serving almost seven years on the District Court of Maryland. While on the bench, he served as President of the Maryland Circuit Court Judges Association for two years.

Judge Green started his legal career as the Law Clerk to the Honorable David Gray Ross in his final year of law school. He went on to practice law for 16 years with his father, former State Senator Leo E. Green, Sr. in Bowie. While in private practice Judge Green won for a client one of the largest verdicts for TMJ. The Court of Appeals appointed him to the Attorney Grievance Commission in 1998 and he served as a commissioner until his appointment to the bench. During his time as an attorney, he was elected three times to the Bowie City Council, serving from 1996 to 2001.

Judge Green lives in Bowie with his wife and has three adult children. He is also blessed with three grandchildren.
